Privacy Policy

This policy covers what happens to the information you send through the website's appointment request form. It does not cover the notarial records I am required to keep under Louisiana law. Those are governed by separate rules and are not website data.
What I collect
The appointment request form asks for your name, phone number, and email address; the type of document you need notarized; your preferred date and time; the address where you would like to meet; and any notes you choose to add.
That is all of it. There is no account to create, no mailing list, and nothing gathered in the background.
Please do not put Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or account numbers in the notes field. If a document needs one, I will handle it in person.
What I use it for
I use it to read your request, get back to you, and schedule the appointment.
I do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for advertising, and I do not pass it to data brokers.
Who else handles it
Two services are involved in running this site:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, counts visits to it, and delivers the form to my inbox, so your submission passes through its systems.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means loading a page tells Google your IP address.
None of them receive your information for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, does count visits to it — how many people came, roughly where from, and which pages they opened. It does that without cookies and without building a profile of you, and I only ever see totals, never anything that points to a particular person.
Beyond that count there is no tracking pixel, no advertising script, and nothing that follows you to other sites.
How long I keep it
Appointment requests stay in my email as a record of the work. If you would like yours deleted, ask and I will delete it.
Your choices
Call or email and I will tell you what I have, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill out and no waiting period.
Security
I take reasonable care with what you send, though no website can promise perfect security. If information covered by Louisiana's breach notification law is ever exposed, I will notify you as that law requires.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
